BACK & UPSTAIRS GALLERIES: "For Always and Ever"

by Dawn Tan, Noriko Nakamura, Caroline Banks, Shina Kim
Friday 23rd October - Friday 6th November
(Opening Night Friday 23rd October 6pm - 9pm)

For Always & Ever is a collection of works brought together through a mutual engagement with themes of femininity, domesticity and the natural world. In response to the recent return to craft culture in Melbourne and around the world, and a renewed appreciation for the delicate, natural and feminine in the face of increasing environmental concern, this group of artists have produced bodies of work combining the use of traditional art materials such as oils and acrylic, as well as fabric, thread, coloured pencils and glitter.
